Buzzzz Bike
It doesn't take too much to get into mountain biking. At the minimum, all you need is a hill and a bike and at Buzzzz Café we have those in abundance.
Machairas Cycling Route
Vavatsinia is a top cycling spot, with the Machairas route as its main attraction. This 25km ride takes cyclists through the Machairas forest and Pitsylia region, passing through villages like Lazanias and Gouri, before heading toward Farmakas and joining the Nicosia-Palaichori road. The route then ascends to the heart of Palaichori.
- Total Distance: 25 kilometres
- Difficulty Rate: Although the entire route is on paved roads, there are several steep uphills. It requires a street bicycle with at least 14 speeds or a mountain bike with 21 speeds.
- Road Conditions: For the most part this route is on paved roads.
- Height Gain: 240 metres
For the adventurous, Vavatsinia has plenty of off-road trails with steep climbs and fast descents, offering breathtaking views and a chance to immerse yourself in nature.
